got it (well I pick it up tuesday)
black K4, lower fairing, pretty much standard apart from that. getting a datatool sys 3 alarm put on it, and it's being serviced before it leaves the shop Didn't bother with that skid-mark of a bloke at John Pease. all in all, a result in my eyes. |

choose colour wisely my friend... SV due to its v-twin engine is a pretty narrow bike, lighter colour will make it look a bit fatter, and black will make it looker smaller and even narrower. i went for blue because that's the happy medim i could get on K4 colour, and after i got mine, i realised its the faster colour as well..

the bike was dropped in sat morning - the guy p/x for a gsxr. they gave me a bell, so I went down to have a look
didn't ride it, but it's only 9months old, and was bought and serviced from there - Alpha in Leigh-on-sea, so I thought it's good enough. they're doing the second service there as well before i get it tomorrow, so I'll just go with the fact that it's all good. if there are any faults (which apparently there aren't) then the mechanics will sort it all out. with everything on it, I paid £3,900. I know that from pease I could've got a new bike, but it wouldn't have the lowers, alarm and bungs on it, thus I'd be looking at around 5k.... the sales guy there wouldn't give me anything... well, he did offer me £6 off of a chain/pad lock. what a bell end. anyways, it made my decision on the colour - blue/black, as it was black! now I just wanna go and have a go on it! |
