The Pics with the bikes in background were taken At Rivington Barn Supposidly a 9th Century Saxon Cruck barn, but records only date back for it to the 13th (No doubt rebuilt several times over so probably more victorian than saxon).

The ones with grass underfoot and tea were at Slaidburn on the Lancs and that other place border

Yes that is my son. He looked like that because he knew we were going to be there for another 2 hours in a vain attempt at selling my bike
