I tried using the "I've got little legs" excuse... Until we went to France last year and Kev Wheatley (5" 6' in stiletto's) was doing it on almost every corner. It's a question of technique.... One I haven't mastered yet but I'll do it eventually... (I think....)

how far are you leaning the bike over? get some heat in the tyres an see if you can get the peg down. once thats down it aint much of a streach for your knee

Right over. Front tyre is right out to the edge and has no chicken strips, back tyre has 1mm or maybe 2mm left of chicken strip to go

The quickest way to get convincing scrapes on knee sliders is to leap off at about 70mph then bounce along the road. Trust me on this
