fully comp is the way to go, i currently fixing my bike that was hit 2 weeks ago in germany. I want the bike returned back to it orignal state and that means fitting stock part which cost a fortune. Its cost £2500 to get the bike recovered and fixed and i will not see any of that money until chrismas apparently, which is great!

if the bike had been fully comp they insurnace would have recovered it to england, got me home and maybee provided a spare bike

so the morel of the story is unless the differance between Fully comp and TFTP is huge, for me it was double. fully comp is well worth the extra money.

The idea of TPFT is basically, dont cause any accidents and you'll be fine, and because you are a biker, you are unlikely to cause an accident as you will generally lose anyhoo. The SV naked is amazingly easy to bring back from the dead, the only draw back of the SVS is those damned plastics panels, very expensive, so all in all, save your money and buy a Haynes manual for the inevitable smack.

Oh and make sure you get legal cover (get £50K as standard with Carole Nash), so when someone hits you, you can sue their a*se off.

*Reality is subject to blurring round the edges and your life may be forfeit if you do not keep up with payments
