Wow! That's a fast response!

I'm in the Newcastle area. Many others this far north???

And there's no exhaust option because anything seen to increase performance would kill my insurance!

Good point e.d.

A better reason is that I'm too slow to need the extra performance yet anyway. Need to learn how to go around corners first!

Has got to be the crash bungs.

I just got myslef a pair from ebay, only cost me £38.00 is that good or bad??

Sounds like crash bungs is the consensus.

But if I put them on then decide to get fairing lowers later I'd have to buy another set right? Any way around that?

If you get the new design R&G bungs then they will fit with a full fairing.
I'm not necessarily recommending these, though, just mentioning them as an option.
