Like people have said, if that's all you failed on sounds like you've got it nailed for next time.

How well do you know the roads around the test centre? It may be worth investing a bit of time just pootling around there to get to know them a little better, save getting caught out again.

I took my test in Bedford which had naff all of a one way system back then, but you really had to be hot on lane discipline. That and practice U-turns on roads that had a camber the height of Mt Everest and cobbled gutters a foot deep!
I was lucky and lived there so knew the roads like the back of my hand - familiarity does help.

Stay positive; it sucks now but the joy of passing should be yours soon.

yeah - i was told about the bus lane trick on the TW one way system before my test there. The fact that my training partner went flying down there on one of our lessons hammered the point home somewhat!

Managed to pass first time - although i have gone down that bus lane by mistake since passing!

Best of luck for next time.

Bummer - sorry to hear that.

I failed DAS 3 times and in the end I did it on a 125 because I was so fed up of the CB500. Had to wait 2 years to get any size bike, but that's over now, and I'd rather have been restricted to 33bhp and counting down the days than getting frustrated trying every few months.

The whole thing gave me an intense hatred of CB500s...
