Well i got it recovered and had an arguement with the guy... he said that my battery was fualty, and i explained it was brand new, acid only went in it today and it had enough charge to start the bike...
So he jumped it and got out his reader and came to the conclusion after about half an hour of different tests that my altanator (Spelling??) has a fualty coil or something like that and that the battery is getting no juice to it, so everything is running off the battery... so, new Altanator (there's that bad spelling again)... should be back on the road by the weekend hopefully for good this time... Oh, and just for Fizz..... here ya go mate.. ****!!!!!!!!!

If it was bought from a shop or dealer, by law they have to offer a 3 month guarantee. If they cant prove it didnt have the problem at sale, which is unlikely as it could have simply got worse, they have to fix it.
You may still have time! |

I have loads of time, i have a 12month warranty... it is the principle of it is what is annoying me though...

Well he has looked at it today... there is a intermitant problem with the Alternator... when he moves the bike, sometimes it starts, some times it won't, when he shakes it, same... sometimes yes other times no...
He did tell me that my brand new battery is fooked though... so i will be on the phone to the comany for a refund/replacment tomorrow.... He will be trying to blag me another battery by blaming it on these problems... So at least i get a free Regulator out of it as he has kept the one he replaced which turns out to be fine... |
