Where did you hear that
I wouldn't pay much attention to them as they are obviously talking out of something that most people use for sitting on

Well, from a challenge point of view it's probably true that it's less challenging to ride an SV fast and tidy than it is a CB1... I think that's what he was getting at- just like it's easier to ride a GSXR fast than an SV.

As to what Northwind said, that is exactly what i mean, but dont take my word for it as i havent ridden one yet! So now seeing that you cant get a 2005 model in silver frame, which is a shame, cos i want new this year, so i'm now opting for a 03/04 SV in silver frame instead. The black doesnt appeal to me much and looks duller!

Do we ever discuss about SV1000 on here? Or is that strictly out of bounds?!

Cheers guys and dolls!

There's a dedicated SV1000 forum so I think most of the thou conversations happen over there...

It's not that we don't like to talk about the thou, it's just that because so few people have them here there isn't much useful information to be gained from us.

Cool, can ever get the SV650 with the twin exhuast option, or is that not possible. Or should there be an aftermarket kit for that?

[plug mode] If it's a curvy SV650, it just so happens I'm selling a twin system just now [/plug mode]
