i had this on my k3, i presume they have tried replacing the speedo drive sprocket? it's a cheap part, and they could rob one off a second hand bike and try it. these parts are easy to break.

when mine was on the way out the speedo would show random speeds and then finally packed up.

good luck, hope you get a satisfactory conclusion to it.

thanks for the replys
will - yes that was the first part they replaced
anyway just phoned them up and the part still is not there so i am going to see them tomorrow and see what they have to say if i give them until next friday to fix the bike (will be 2 weeks in the garage by that time which i think is plenty of time to fix it ) and if not see what their view are of giving me a new bike, also the petrol tank still has'nt arrived 3 weeks after picking the bike up.
i may put this in writing and take 2 copies and get them to sign my one to say they have had a copy

does anybody also know if anybodys bike has been rejected before and how much hassle is involed in the process?
thanks
Mark
