Congrats, £4200 for (I assume) a faired bike doesn't seem bad but the only frame of reference was the £3600 I paid for mine nearly two years ago.

Well done!!!

£4200 doesnt seem to bad, I paid £4499 on 0% but got Thatcham approved Acumen alarm (worth £278! I have since found out), £100 of service vouchers, and OEM crash bungs to go on the lowers I ordered.

let us know what you get!!!!

£4200 is about right for the list of a stock K5s the 0% is a good deal at the mo. Just remember serviceing costs. 1st one should be free, then every 4000 miles etc, then insurance, road tax etc etc.

Wel done on passing. £130 for 2 bits of metal on the lowering kit is outrageous. Takes about 20 mins to fit if you have an abba center paddock stand. Id haggle on that big time £100 maximum, and thats still to much!

f1 have them listed on their site for £130 so £180 isn't so bad

How low is it going to drop the bike? There are issues with the side stand etc if too low. The bike will fall over if not on a perfectly flat road!!

If you dont mind me asking, how petite are you?

I'm 5 2 at a push

Have sat on a curvy that was lowered in the same way in chesterfield, lowers the bike by a fair bit - 780mm i think.

I'm gonna be doing some miles so didn't wanna scoop the seat

If you've been speaking to wardies, ask them for a deal on the K4 Sv650s they have in at the mo', Black but no lowers. Mines from them but i got charged £150 for restrictor kit ( it took 3 days to arrive aswell so be patient ) Speak to Rob and NOT the guy who generally answers (Steve in clothing Dept.) He'll get you best deals and can work you a descent finance deal on second hands if you want to go that way.

For £3800 ish @ 36 months i was gonna have to pay around £130 a month, i ended up getting a bank loan cheaper. they'll also put the Restrictor and any extras on finance for you if you ask.

Good luck and well done. Might see you about if you come through to wardies, look for a curvy black naked with loud blueflame high level .
