Agreed. I find that to be the only factor in getting the SV to turn properly. It's something I need to work on too!

Oh right. The eaxct same thing holds true though- using preload adjustment to try and adjust anyhting other than preload gives you a bad static setup and not much else IMO.

Well last night re-adjusted my rear suspension to 3. Went for a ride and found it a lot easier, smoother.

Apart from the bit where I nearly went headon into a tractor

Where do you normally go riding? I live just down the way towards Dartford and am looking at some new and interesting routes...

I quite like the A227 out of Gravesend, then B260 towards Dartford.

I used to go down the A2 to Dover then along the coast to Hastings, but that's not as much fun now, as I'm after more twisty bits.

My suggestion to find some good roads is www.multimap.com and focus on the yellow B-roads.

My normal quick route usually takes me from the sainsbury's at pepper hill across the A2 then a right turn at the roundabout. Just after bean turn left and head back toward longfield. At the mini roundabout I turn right toward fawkham past the church and school then up past the brands hatch hotel and gym. At the junction(brands paddock end) I take a left under the M20 then along to the A20. Follow the A20 till it gets to the roundabout with the A227 then follow A227 through borough green until it meets up with the A25 at the next roundabout. Then follow the A25 through to sevenoaks where it junctions at some lights with the A225. Then follow the 225 all the way to where it meets the A20 near brands again and then at the roundabout hang a right back onto the A225 via sutton at home into dartford then back home. All in all a short 30 - 45min run, ideal for a late summer evening or a quick sunday blast.

Man, I'd love to go for a ride someday. Would you guys want to meet somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic?

Hey ...seeing as there are quite a few of us sv'ers in the area maybe we should all go exploring sometime I enjoy riding alone but going out in a group also appeals to me. Another of my favorite roads is down onto the Isle of Grain...awesome twisties the closer you get to the power station
