the new blue is a sort of... well i dunno... metallic candy sort of blue. I didnt like it... kind of greeny rather than the old blue. yurgh.

annoying because the K6 won't be out in any colours i like... though maybe red? still - the fella at the NEC told me there was no difference between the K5 and K6, apart from on the nakid which has some small change to the instrument panel iirc.

The K6 650 is in dealers now. I saw them last Friday when I went to test ride an SV1000S.
I've also been told that they're basically skipping the K5 SV1000 and will get the K6 in sometime early next year.

I did see a K6 GSXR1000, now that looked nice in red.

There were SVs and SV lites aplenty on the Suzuki stand at the NEC, but no SV1000.
