When I was first running in the bike and keeping it under 5k revs, I got 145 before the light came on - that's from about 10.5L of fuel.

I now get 120-130 for the same amount of fuel, when the light comes on.

What is the tank size on the SV anyway?

Most of my riding is motorway/commuting and A roads.

10.5? I get 13+ in there when the light has *just* come one

I can get 185 miles to the tank... thats filling it right to the top and riding as sensibly as I can...

I've had it down as low as 70 doing a track day though...

Erm.....just been readin this post and now a little worried!

I got an K4 and I get around 100miles? WTF????

I once got 140 out of it, the light had been on for about 50 miles...I was having kittens I can tell you?

Most of my journeys are A roads, few twisties and do tend to give it a bit. But some of you say you get 120ish when thrashing?

theres some serious tootling going on here 160 miles, in my dreams.

K4 , i get around 100-110 till the light comes on, ive pushed 30 miles on the light but didnt enjoy it, i think the best i got before the light is about 130 but thats tootle tootle.
when ive been feeling particualrily mechanically unkind ive got down to 85 miles before the light.

oh and it doesnt flash, i t just comes on and stays on.
