I have a full akrapovic race system on my curvy - wouldn't recommend it if you like your neighbours, only if you hate them!

It is loud enough to wake the dead, but i love it

So long as there's no baffles involved, it'll sound awesome!

Basically I guess I'm wondering what the difference between what Renegade offer for €885 and what I see in my dealer showroom for €200 is?!

Performance? Sound?!
For €885 you will get two cans, two link pipes, great performance, awesome sound and excellent service

AFAIK all Renegade parts are hand made - many other exhaust 'manufacturers' use parts bought in from the same supplier(s) and then just assemble them (e.g. end caps etc)

I spent £660 on a pair of hi-level carbon Renegade cans for my old SV650 about 4 years ago - they were worth every penny. Power was up by 6BHP at the wheel at 6000rpm, which was very useful when overtaking

I sold them to one of the users on this site after 3 years and they still looked like new .

yep, me too!!!! along with airbox mods and power commander fitted by JHS Racing on my pointy makes about 9 bhp but much crisper! well made system but its sooooooooo loud!!! even the bloke who owns the bike shop next to my house complained. (he still sells race cans to people though). have to wear ear plugs if going any more than 2 or 3 miles!

Right...I reckon when the time comes I'll go for the Renegade. I'm waiting to see about getting it derestricted too - I should ride it restricted for another year because of my licence. Might wait till then to do a big job on it including the exhaust...

So the Scorpions ARE good then? My local dealer has some of em in and was lookin at em. Not too expensive. Sound really nice?!
