That is so bad! Not exactly close to home was he either? Head on collision? Has someone made an ill advised over taking manouvre? Not looking to blame it is just so tragic. R.I.P.

RIP SV brother.

And to think that in my borough they are actively taking out centre of road markings in an effort to get drivers to drive better. Some lunatic seems to think that if there are no road markings drivers will feel less likely to speed and more likely to have better regard for other road users as they wont feel so safe on the road

Clealry they dont think that these type of accidents will shoot right up.

oh ****, just logged on to find this out. absolutely gutted now. i even took a detour when i was out delivering christmas cards to go past the scene to see if there were any flowers or anything. i was quite hopeful when i saw none and thought he may have got away with it.
sadly not.

I've heard nothing about this new one...but I'll ask around.
Well...front page of the local rag says he has made a full recovery and on the mend. Not all bad then. Although another rider was killed when he hit a truck nearby...he was from St Helens.
