Based on the same tabletop wargame I think... Not played Dawn of War but I used to be right into my Warhammer games, when I was about 13. Still got boxes of little lead soldiers somewhere. Dawn Of War's one of the reasons I'm needing to upgrade my PC
Actually, I believe Space Crusade the computer game was based on Space Crusade the board game. Dawn of War is based on Warhammer 40k.

Edit: though admittedly, 40k and Space Crusade were in the same universe.

That's what I meant, though I was keeping it in layman's terms. Ah, Space Crusade and Heroquest, they were the gateway drugs that got hundreds of kids hooked on the evils of Warhammer games. "Got any lead? I need my lead man, I'm hurting..."
