If you're at all worried Prof, take loads of pictures of your bike before it goes & get someone to witness it

Its what I did with Katie before this farce all started
Sensible suggestion, but I don't want to get too paranoid. Fowlers
have been good to me and my bike in the past.

Actually, I now have another reason to be happy that I arranged
collection and delivery: a few days ago I developed a nasty back
pain and currently I can hardly move around the house, let alone
ride the bike. I think it is Nature telling me that I am getting old
(will hit the big five O shortly) and ought to cut down on tennis
and biking.

Today my bike was delivered back from Fowlers after being serviced.
No problems to report. Fowlers have a van equipped for carrying
bikes and the guy who drives it loads and unloads bikes in the most
skillful manner.

Of course it was! I'll be back (maybe on a trike or a V-twin-powered wheelchair).
