*edit* D'oh! Please move to idle banter!
Well in my humble opinion, from what I've seen, you're not a slow rider... so I'm more impressed that you manage to preserve your chicken strips

i have chicken strips. i couldnt give a flying monkeystoss what anybody says about them! i'll join in the banter and have a laugh if anybody wants to take the micky, but it isnt something i would be concerned about.

i'll stick to trying to keep it rubber side down for the time being, what angle of lean i get in achieving that is neither here nor there.

Nah, you're all just trying to get my "King of the Chicken Strip" title away from me!!! I won't let you, you hear!?

On a more serious tone, I'm with KeithD on this one. Couldn't care less, as long as I arrive safely everywhere I set off to.

Keith is just being modest. I saw his tyres after his track day

Hero bogies right up to the edge.

If you ride a lot in the winter you're going to get them (even more so if you commute) as there's no way you're going to be cornering like you do on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

I know how good my tyres looked after a track day, so I'm not bothered about what others think. I also know that my cornering is pretty awful at the moment too... (roll on the spring and a couple of track days!).

I just take it as something to joke about. no 1 really cares bout it that i know. and as jelster said, if you ride all year round you will have them @ some point especially in the winter.

Now in idle banter as requested.

Chicken strips, yup I have them too. Used to be on the same train as others about getting rid of them asap. Now I couldn't care less.

Scoobs you dont ride slow at all mate

I've got em to, I dont think you'll ever really get rid of them without doing a trackday

Mind you I always have a look at mine after a spirited ride to see if they've got any smaller

I think its more to do with riding style than anything else.
