With the VDub i'd be worried about reliability. Ok your bros a mechanic (lucky git) but you still have to hunt about for the right parts from breakers or whatever....and pay for them.
I'd be tempted to go for something like a Corsa 1.2i or something nippy like that. That way the local chavs will have a bit of respect for it  Or they may nick it as soon as they see it.  Of your choices tho i'd go with the honda, just cos they are reliable and they normaly have far more electonic gadgets in em to play with.

Having seen the pics I would say it has to be the Audi. Looks nice.
