The bike is indeed up and running, apart from a little "battle damage" to the cosmetics, as good as it every was, in fact probably better as the rear was lowered, but previously not the front, this has now been corrected so the bike is level and rides well (although feels really small) lost a bit of ground clearance, but you can't have everything.

As Sam did (or was involved in) most of it herself she'll be the current "expert" on all things SV and no doubt be fitting the nitrox kit sometime next week

No; but seriously, she has a better understanding of what is involved and should be able to undertake some of the future mechanical tasks if she wants to.

Mind you as a sub 4k miles bike, it's not going to need much for a while.

Cheers Mark.

I can confirm the SV is up and running, and to prove to the doubting Mr Rigor we met him at Box hill on sunday in the rain, then drove to Gilford and back. A good run and the SV held up well, but the ride completely undid all of sam's hard work getting the bike cleaned & polished

As mentioned thanks to everyone who helped out, (and loads of you did) Sam is a lot happier. The poor old Bandit is now being moth-balled for next time me or Sam break our bikes
