I've got Gerbing's heated gloves (www.gerbing.nl)

I haven't tried 'em yet though, because I am 'without bike'

Which would you say is worse - being bikeless or having a shiney new bike right outside and not being able to ride it?

mr cloggsy is right having one you can't ride is better than not having one at all

This is true, but I think I was more patient about it before the new bike appeared, and I have to walk past it everyday to get in the cage to go to work.

I have HG's own brand on the 'Blade, and Oxfords on the SV.

The Oxfords seem to be hotter and are apparantly fuly controlable, but I find that there is actually only about 3 heat settings - warm - hot - and boody hot...

The HG ones have 2 settings "Start" & "On" - I find that the start position is required all the time in some conditions. These seem better made too.

Still, wouldn't be without them now....

James, during the rideout to Hastings on Sunday my hands were nice and toasty. I enjoyed the ride so much more because my hands weren't hurting. I guess you could remove them but there really isn't any need. Just disconnect the leads from the battery points.

Cheers
Andy

I use the Oxfords grips, wish they went hotter though... I wear Pathan 2-fingers too, one of the warmest gloves there is, but my thumbs always freeze. Next year, I'll get heated gloves I think. And maybe a vest too.

Default Heated grips

Had the ‘fixed’ grips but now have oxford wrap arounds. These are A1 in this weather and you can take of when/if the weather warms up!!

I use them with muffs and my hands don’t get cold. I do 72 miles a day in all weather.
