Hi

It was done the very next day after my post, spooky or what. Maybe my threat of a mass demonstration worked

Perhaps I should post about other bad roads in the area and they will get fixed as well

I will PM you about my location.

Kind regards
Tim

Hi, Dan,
I was in Portsmouth yesterday, first time in ages and first time in our Rover.... I normally collect and deposit our daughter in our Astra, old, soft, skinny tyres and extremely slow. Yesterday in our Rover, very old, very low, very stiff and quite responsive and I couldn't believe how bad your roads are. It explained why our daughter doesn't ride her bike about the place as she says she'd rather walk everywhere than get hurt teetering about on broken roads.....
Mind you, fantastic tower, Gunwharf is the only shopping centre I actually am willing to go to... but only because they who like shopping can shop and I can look at boats and drink coffee and have the best pasty outside the one true county that it's been my experience to devour, so it's not all bad but I must say the roads are utterly appalling in and around Portsmouth. And you've got Novatech on the doorstep...... and Halmatic..... and that millenium trail..... and Southsea sea front, so interesting.....
Thanks for letting me visit, I hope to come again but I'll bring the Astra and try to avoid downtown Southsea..!
Keep up the good work
Cheers

This is all true.. though I prefer the pasties in Chichester...
You could park in the Park & Ride at IBM and get the bus in to Gunwarf, let the bus take the strain of Portsmouth's pot hole roads.

Or you could come to Gosport and get the best view of the tower. And we didn't pay a penny for it

Oh and we have an Oggie Oggie PAsty shop now to make you feel at home. Not the same as an Ivor Doodney's though
