Bugger that, i never go to Black Tie events becuase i cant be bothered to dress up i stuff i dont have nor want.

Black tie but wear a red one if you see what I mean, black tie is pretty miserable so liven it up a tad.

I like the sound of 'if the pigging gets excessive' When I worked in Wolverhampton I learned a new word - 'pogged'. As in 'I'm pogged'. Good innit.

Got to be the DJ or the full Prince Charlie if you're a Scot.

Leave the loutish behaviour of wearing of lounge suits to black tie events to the likes Gordon Brown (okay it was a white tie event, but you get the idea) .
