Dude, as much as I love 'em, they're hardly the most reliable transport. Best join a recovery firm if'n ya get one A friend had two Griffiths before he went back to a BMW M3. Must admit you can't beat the growl from them though

I'd suggest that the business plan that was used to justify the openeing of a new branch got eaten by their dog or something. I really hope they don't go under either - I gave myself a target of 10 years to own a TVR in; that was 3 years ago.

The Racing Green TVR dealer is around the corner from where I live, despite popping in three or so times, leaving my card twice, they never ever got back to me "Sir, we have a lovely cerbera 4.2 in yellow - fancy a go?" Now call me a bluff old traditionalist, but punters that wander around your showroom admiring cars are probably the ones that will buy them - I must look poor.

I had the privilidge to be able to afford to run a couple of Maseratis a few years back (now stopped as I have a wife and accidental twins) and i wandered into the Maranello concessionaire (ferrari/maser/Bentley) dealership in Northern Ireland dressed in scruffs, was met by a nice chap in a suit, who didn't give two hoots that I looked like I'd come to his showroom via the hedge backwards.

Funnily enough, I ended up buying two cars off him (about 100K spent total) whereas the Porsche garage next door were complete dismissive *****s. I used to like going back to the garage to browse, but making sure they knew i'd not be buying from them ever......
