e.d I might take you up on your offer if I cant find one around .. just dont want to end up being all kitted up and not being able to ride the bike properly!!

You really dont need to take a huge ammount. i learned the hard way. Iused to take everything but the kitchen sink. I just make sure that i camp somewhere that has facilites like cafe etc

I reckon you should be able to get all the stuff for the weekend, including tent and sleeping bag in a medium sized (30litre) rucksack, and if your used to riding wearing a rucksack you won't have any problems.

Just shout if you want the tent it'll only sit at home otherwise cos i'm using a different one this year.
