Chances are the van belongs to some pikey and is still registered to the owner that had it 3 changes of owner in the pub ago.

If you are lucky and they do trace him just hope he has insurance otherwise you need to start on the MIB claim.

Hope the bruises heal, and the bike can be fixed before Mrs Toad finds out.

Just think yourself lucky that you have not had to deal with them. The MIB are your only source to recover some of the damage when the driver turns out to have no insurance or scarpers etc. Part of your premiums has to go to this organisation to reimburse the victims of scroat drivers.

Can't believe this Simon, apart from being outrageous it's just such bad luck - so sorry mate. Anything I can do (like assist in an organised beating) just let me know .

Best of luck getting the bike and yourself sorted, oh and explaining to Mrs Toad (which certainly has to be the worst bit ).
