Edit: as far as stu's concerned he still feels he's a biker.... but I'm SO bloody close to just PAYING someone to come over and get the bike started - he says it's just paying someone to print money - but I've SO wanted to ride with him... it's stunted my pleasure riding... oooer! LOL!!!

Get the manual out - Ill borrow Soaps tool kit get a lift over and we'll show him how its done - we'll get down and dirty (with the bike that is ) (what am I saying - I cant even change a light bulb )

He had to pull the engine apart about a year ago to find out what was making the nasty noise and found it was a sheered off screw. Luckily there was no damage from the screw but now that it's all back together he still has to over-ride the immobiliser (something about it being dead or something), I think he's got some enging mounting bolts to go back in and various other electrical stuff.

He wants to take it down to his mate's garage to do the work tho.
