I got these on my curvy SV too and they work a treat, I found out how well they worked just the other day, saved the bike bar a brake lever and scuff on exhaust. Def. a good buy, cant go wrong with them.

Failing that R&G's

Default Bungs

Hi I asked the same a few weeks ago and after a lot ot thinking and askin around I went for the R&G ones £70.00 and got them within 2 days from my local bike shop.
I fitted them this morning and they look good.Two point that I felt ;
1) R&G bungs sit a little bit forward of other makes which give you a bit more leg room.
2) R& G bungs fit in two places on the frame this will help spread the load .
When I bought mine from the shop there was an SV there which had motrax bungs on it had hit the road the bung had bent over damaging the frame and mounting point.

Wheras the R+G's just snap off or bend over not having a chance to damage or protect anything, but the brackets sturdy so that wont wear in a hurry :P

I've got some Suzuki bungs on which are total pants. I have some R&Gs in a box but got no fitting instructions... If I can build IKEA furniture without looking at the instructions I should be able to puzzle these out...

The Motrax ones are all rubbish... Though they might have revised their design after I bullied them into refunding me I reckon the outer bolt on the new R&Gs, combined with the narrow base of the bung, just makes them too flexible. Mine definately bent by an unreasonable amount, despite not actually hitting any solid objects. The bracket itself is great, though.

I think SV650Racer was talking about isng GSXR1000 bungs on the R&G brackets- they don't have the fluted base, so the bung itself would give better resistance to bending.
