yeah do you know how much they charge for this little bit of plastic ???

I can't remember but it is hidious.

There is a guide on SVrider.com on how to make your own out of a floppy disk!

They're £20 to £30

Though it's not just a wee bit of plastic, it's a bit of shaped filler, primed and paitned to colourmatch with the tail section. Pretty well made, if you ignore the fact that the bolts provided are M6, the hole is 6mm, but the hole it bolts into is M8... There's a company in France that does them for a tenner unpainted, FWIW, but seems a rubbish option to me by comparison.

You could make your own the same way using filler, but it'd be a load of work, and unless you've got all the stuff it'd be ludicrously expensive. To do it right, figure on £30 for stuff alone. Plus a fair amount of labour.

Does that Pyramids one fit on with the normal seat clamp, or with bolts?

the Pyramid one steals the seat clamp thing of the rear seat to fit. You can then just pop it on and off. I had to dremil mine a tad to get it snug, though the one I have on the older SV seems a tad loose and has rather a large gap. But it does the job.

Has anyone got a picture of a k5 seat cowl from an alternative manufacturer?

I have tried to find a SVZ white suzuki one and seem to be struggling
