It's just a bit of gossip and I deny it absolutely.

what's the reason for converting an S to an N? why not use an N in the first place and change bits (cheaper bike, isn't it?)?

I thought I'd like the S... it was a mistake, so I want a N, but I plan to keep the lights and clock.

i mean, is it not quite a bit of effort and time and money though? wouldn't it be cheaper for you to sell the S (as an S!) and buy an N? (unless you actually want the S lights and clock as you say - but won't it look a little odd with no fairing?)

exactly my thoughts - I have a 1 year old S in pristine condition, so thats worth about £3200 (maybe?), and I can get a new N for about £4000, so thats just a cost of £800 to change, as opposed to all the effort involved with making a conversion.

Plus my S got written off, so its just not cost effective... Oh and I'm rather attached to it.

You're damn right. You don't buy or sell any bike. We just love tuning our bike we have... further and further.

Here is another picture of a naked SV with a GSX-R headlight. Lol
