The book its from is Life is a road, the soul is a motorcycle, Ive forgotten the chaps name. He posts on advrider from time to time. The rest of the book (I cant remember if this story is in the book) is more whimsical/anectdotal rather than downright comedy, but its still a nice book and captures a lot of the feel about 'riding'.
