I deduce that you never ate at The Hargreaves Arms in Laneshawe Bridge...or purchased from Stanforth's Celebrated Pork Pie Establishment. South Africans obviously don't travel too well in a northerly direction....

Nor do us Southerners, anything north of the Thames is a bit suspisious, why they keep calling Arsenal and Tottenham London clubs is beyond me, THEYRE NORTHERNERS.

Hush up you whinging Northerner. :P

Nearly most of the country is Northern to me. Especially when I grew up a mile from the Channel. Was nearer France than London or Essex.

Actually, that probably explains an awful lot thinking about it realy :P

I actually lived in Sunderland for 9 months when I first moved to the UK. That's proper North... not like those wannabe's in Manchester and Leeds

I'll google those fine establishments you mentioned, cos I do like a good steak.

I don't understand "Nearly most".

Assuming that "most" means >50% then "nearly most" must mean <50%. Are you saying that Kent is near Birmingham?

Well I could get pedantic and start arguing over the South West and Southern Counties which technically has a lot more places south than kent does. :P

Is the sign of being British also that no-one likes our Eurovision entry and seemingly on other forums want the Finns to win it. :P

Lordi rocks! Id so love a tv and hear Wogans view on a band playing 80s metal dressed up like GWAR.
