found the sv abit lacking again.

the welsh lanes on the sv are great! just the right speed 50-60ish nice and twisty and torque in hand

thats what im talking about!

all my friends have il4's...alot faster...and keep on at me to get a PROPER bike! i have way too much fun loosing them on the corners...or suddenly being on their asses out of corners!

sv is too much fun!

Yeah its the roll-on that does it. I expect it was one of those 200bhp turbo Golf GTI's that have just come out. I have a Clio 182 and from 0-120 my SV would beat it by a country mile but 80 - 120 would be very close. My car has a top speed of 139 so very similar to the SV and once you get to 80 you kind of reach a point where their performance converges. Thats a cheap £13k car that hundreds of 19 year old baseball cap wearing n*bs are driving around here. The SV doesn't offer you enough protection from them.

I came up behind a guy in the Clio owners club on the dual carriageway around here a week ago and he pulled into the inside lane whilst doing about 70 and spanking it and said I came past him like he was stood still....

my mates got a busa and yea its v quick but its well too rounded it reminds me of something thats been melted from the front its gotta look good too

Thats what I found. I followed Liz up the A303 she was driving my Golf Gti ( 150bhp ) and she was pulling away from me once we got up to 90 or more.

I remember thinking when I drove the Golf that it would be quicker than the SV from 90 onwards it made a lot of power higher up its rev range. It was begining to pull then where the SV I found was begining to run out of puff at that kind of speed.

The SV would still munch the golf up to 80mph though.
