Hmmm perl as the shell. Never tried that nasty little trick. now you got me thinking of more devilish alternatives. Awk as the shell should be very interesting. I have even run notes under wine, but attachments were a pain as I could not find how to lauch openoffice instead of the thing going off looking for word etc

I use http://www.chrysocome.net/explore2fs but that only works on Ext2 and Ext3.
It looks like this one does the same http://www.fs-driver.org/index.html UFS explorer seems to support RiserFS also costs but I haven't tried it yet http://www.sysdevsoftware.com/soft/ufsexplorer.php |
