Cheers everyone.

Yep i never understood the U-turn with foot down, in real life you would just put your foot down... it gives you more balance and less likely to fall and cause an accident (and at the speeds your ment to do your u-turn at it shouldnt matter about putting your foot down)

The mirrors, i didnt quite move them so i couldnt look at them without moving but whenever i checked them i made sure i made it obvious which over the top head movments.

We also got warned that they may ask a question like "what may you have to do when doing a u-turn with a pilllion" which my answer to my instructor was "ask the person to get off and meet you the other side of the road" but of course thats not a valid answer test wise :P

better luck on 3rd july.

as for foot down in u turn depends on the length of your legs if i was to try and put my foot down while doing a u turn i would topple over - oh yeah i did 17 times the day before my test.

the bike really is more stable with both feet on the pegs honest

The foot-up u-ey's supposed to be a good general indicator of slow control apparently, think of it as being more the equivalent of a cones section and it makes a bit more sense.

Don't worry about the foot down thingy...I do it all the time

Bad luck on the test though. Remember, you can fail it as many times as you like, you only have to pass once.
