My E-bike quote was a couple of quid more than Bennets, but like said, You get a discount if you use R& G and if you do level 2 at California Superbike School.

E-Bike also do track cover for the school days.

Mind you my R& G cost £ 119

well-

did my quote-

was £175 last year comprehensive..

was £160 this year... then R and G's reduced it to £140

then - added on my sp30 - speed 3 points.. no difference..

then called them to declare an accident in the car- small bump at junction at 15 mph in march ... my error.. third party claimed off me (well wifes insuance- me named driver)...... guy told me - makes no difference I processed it and its the same £140.. cool says I?

so planned to renew in a week as it expires then and they hold the quote for me..

got e mail this morning.. telling me of my quote £330 !??????????????????

logged on- checked- yep £330 !

whooooo

so called them - told of situation... said guy told me was same- lovely lady said she would look into it-( obvious long convo etc and I didnt lose my rag) ..
she said they would listen to the convo as they record them all....
within an hour I got an e mail back- she had looked into it- £330 is the corect price cos of my accident.. BUT they listened to the convo . andthe chap had indeed verbally said it would not change- so the MD got involved as she says he lieks personally to keep customers happy and get retention..

AND THEY ARE HONOURING THE £140 !!!!

wowee and WOWEEEEEE !

now that is good service.?? Well done e bike.. made my day

not often you get businesses honouring their word these days and get good service and the MD involved...
So-

that's my day

and this is me >>>>>>>>

I went on the R&G stand today at the GP and got talking to E Bike, He explained why they can be cheap and why they will not answer the phone. There are only 12 people work there and they have many 1000's of policys, they are now doing car and van insurance as well, so the prices might come down further.

Good blokes too :P
