I learnt that at school when i was about 10 yrs old and have never needed to say it to any French person i ever met.

I'm very suprised that a JW would indulge in something as potentialy dangerous as motorcycling too, given the JW stance on blood transfusions and medical interventions.

Hi Spiderman..
I just want to correct your point of view...the reason we refuse blood (transfusion or aliments) it's because we want to obey to the bible....In fact, we accept all medical treatment. A JW cant do what he wants...don't believe that some journalist say...we're not savage !!!
Have a ride out with me, and you will understand.
The next time, some JW will knock on your door, ask them...their answer will be better than in my poor english.

Then thats a totaly different point of view to the girl that i worked with for 2 years, who was a JW. Still each to thier own

Me? Catch religion? Not a chance!

But being serious for a mo... all religions fascinate me and i'm genuinely always curious about things i dont know about.

JWs that do knock on my door are politely invited in for dinner. They taste great with a nice Chianti

Seriously, i do invite them in and ask so many questions that i think i **** them off as they end up giving me books to read and vids to watch, which i do... but they all generate even more questions.
The only thing i ever got as an answer to the blood transfusion thing was a very scary video that was far more propaganda than fact. Shame really.

And just think about that :
how times do you hear about someone who die because of the AIDS? and what about a child (or an adult) who die becouse he (she) refuse a blood transfusion? The second case is very rare..
But, it's not a forum to discuss about religion....just talk about SV...I do not find anyaone to do the journey with me...lol

Very true, not the place for this discussion. I'm sure you;ll find someone for the trip to Brighton, its a nice place to visit. Ive been there about 3 times this year already.
