What can I say, I've been working from home alot!

Well this thread is now pointless. I've tried all the bikes that I was considering, a Fazer600, hornet 600 and a Bandit 650 which was seriously quick in a straight line. I've decided to keep the SV as the other bikes I tried were no where near as fun (although all were more comfy) and handling was not as good as the SV. Plus I missed the noise and engine breaking. So.......looks like I need to get a gel seat and maybe some handle bar risers. If not looks lke I'll need some real good painkillers.

I wouldnt worry, theres a few on here who could say the same to Ward8124 :P Last year I averaged 11k in 2.5 months though my mileage is now somewhat reduced due to change in job, but I know a few others are still higher than that

I think that's the best option to be honest.... Get a 2nd hand gel seat and lower those pegs a little. You'll be amazed the diference the gel seat makes BTW...

Will do. The depreciation hit after owning for 4 months was a bit too hard to swallow. I was getting offers of less than £2'800 from most dealers who claimed that was book value. I'm sure if I sold privatley I would have got more but it's a moot point now.

ALTHOUGH.....there was a nice SV1000 on BikeTrader yesterday......and of course the extra cc would mean extra vibrations and therefore cure my dodgy back! Honest wifey.
