While I really do like the look of the white pen on the tyre writing, I just cannot be arsed to sit there and go over it every week. Why can't they make tyres with the lettering already white dammit!

I did it about 4000 miles ago, and about a thousand before that. It's not shining bright any more but it still looks good. That was a Tyreart pen, I did it with enamel paint and brush the first time but never again.

i did it with enamel paint.

never again, just came straight off, and i became a laughing point from other bikers

enamel paint is brilliant for touching up scrapes on your wheels though

This is excellent advice, take it.

This is a little more forthright, hard to argue with though.

oh how I love the rapport and jolly japes we have in here-- at my expense..

Jonboy told me on AR06 about the tread pens!.. but I aint that bling..

to answer your Q Jonboy- its looking dirty now... I reckon I would have to do it every 2 weeks.. its sorta got a bowny oily colouring to it.. I dont think i will do it again... but it looked nice for a while and gave you B's a talking.laughing point.-

I saw a big 4x4 yrsterday in a drive.. all the letters on the tyres were white.. it must have taken HOURS and a dozen pens-- !
