Go for the K2, black lower casing and silver cylinder heads.

Its the carb and injected model. (2002).

Benifits of both worlds then.

Err The 2002 (K2s) are Carbed, K3s are Injected. Both systems (carburetors and fuel injectors) do the same job so should not exist on the same bike.

Was wondering if 2002 was a special-year dual-fueling model that i missed out on, with the low revs control of the carbs with the efficiency and reliability of the FI

Come on people stop taking the p**s, we all know that he meant fuel injectors that squirt into the carbs.

I ended up buying the 2002 with 4k miles on it. It had been stored by a dealer and then looked over prior to me taking it home. I've put about 200 miles on it and everything has been peachy thus far. Right now I'm at work and I cant wait for this last hour to pass so I can take the long route home.
