Are you sure they dont mean off road trials etc ?
It says;
Exclusions: Hiring, racing, competitions, track days, rallies or trials (other than road safety rallies or treasure hunts), commercial travelling, business use etc etc

Looking through me policy to find out what I CAN use me bike for...

£320 TPF&T this year, 27, 3 years NCB and 2 years' license, no incidents or points. I was offered £550 comp, but with a higher excess, so it probably wouldn't have made much sense. I'd have to do over £700 worth of damage to make it pay for itself (£200 the policy cost, £300 the excess, plus the long-term costs of losing my no-claims and future weighting) The hard bit for me is finding someone that'll cover the mods- loads of places will insure me, I was offered TPF&T for £90 this year! But it would only cover return to original spec, which is less than half the value of the bike CN gave me an agreed value of £4500, which'd do me nicely (anyone want to steal an SV? )
