What are tires?

Are they like tyres at all?

Also, really sticky tyres don't make for good all weather rubber- but you know this I'm sure. After a brief cold, wet ride with Supercorsa Pros I was delighted to get back to Z6s
A set of Supercorsas will be well gone come ‘fall’ (for thems that like American terminology!! ) but they will be ideal for a trackday and this time of year they are great on the road, I don't intend to be running them myself come winter.

I change my tyres myself, so don’t incur any fitting costs, you are right, if you pay someone to do it, it does ramp up the cost.

All I have at my disposal is a set of tyre leavers and a spade … that and some soapy liquid is all you need to DIY .. oh and a pump obviously

Balancing is easy too … just put the wheel spindle in, I use two stools to raise the wheel so it can spin freely on the axle, you could use axle stands or anything really. Give the wheel a slow spin, the heavy bit will eventually rest at the bottom … put weights on at the top. Repeat until there is no discernable rest point.

If you chat up your local tyre fitter you can get some new wheel weights, or if you are like me you have a collection of old ones that I simply duct-tape on. Sorted \/

Yep, that's more or less how I do it too. Well, balancing anyway, in theory that's how I change my tyres as well but in practice I've got fed up halfway through and now it's in the garage being ignored

You break your beads with a shovel? Are you a giant, perhaps?
