Well, what have you got to lose?

I can wheelie most bikes no problem, but I'm having a hell of a time wheeling my new SV. If I slip the clutch I can get it up there, any pointers on power wheeleing an SV650S Davido?

I've done this accidentally twice now. Both times were red mist incidents (one with a car the other with a pedestrian - the look on their face was great!). The K6's are pretty easy to wheelie if you have a laid back position & a heavy right hand in 1st gear.

Wheelying a Curvy is bad anyway as the way they have been designed sustained wheelies will break the bike as the oil settles at the back of the sump and damages the engine if done too often. This is what I heard anyway.

To wheely an SV just rev it up in first and dump the clutch, the front will come right on up.

Engine ****ed because there was lo oil to start with. My fault. Just spend a good night doing some wheelies at a local bike meet and had no problems.

Good luck with it. it can be expensive though if you're not careful. (me)

Power wheelie an sv Iblis? NAAAAAAAAAAH. Not on the S version anyway.

Hold in clutch, rev to 6-8,000rpm, dump clutch, alter throttle/back brake accordingly.

Mine powerwheelies slightly, I ragged the throttle back at slow speeds and the front end skipped so I think if you pinned it and leant back it would come up even further.

I've also had the same with my 2001 curvy. However this happened when I didn;t want it to so I panicked and backed off the throttle sharpish!
