Well considering he knocked 600 quid off the price, that's not bad going. But then again all dealers will do that purely because its on aold bike and that's the book price for a k5.
Hope you get on well with it, tail tidies are a ******* to fit. The instructions that come with the R&G ones may as well be in japanese. (Oh wait, mine were :P) |

R&G tail tidies are a pain to get on cos you have to wiggle the in between the half on half off plastics and then you have to do up the nuts which are obstructed by the rear sub frame. Oh and you need to buy a connector for the wires of the bad tail light. Others may be easier.

I only paid £4000 for my K6, its pretty sneaky of the dealer not to inform the customer exactly what it is, but as long your happy with the bike.....

Double check that it's not the saleman being a muppet and not knowing what he's talking about. I had the same guy try and sell me 3 years servicing when it was also on a deal with 2 years free... the fool! :P |

My K5 cost me £4000 so i'd be gutted to hear that the K6 model had been reduced to the same anyway. Although whilst saying that, I am actually really happy with the bike and I prefer this colour than the K6 one.

Hey Hoppy, when I picked mine up on Tuesday the fella in the shop told me someone else had just ridden one away before me. Wasn't you from a shop in Birkenhead was it? |

My K6 cost a similar amount, either 4100 or 4200. I have the suzuki OEM bellypan and personally I think it looks great. A colour coded single seat pod costs £66 from suzuki but a bellypan is £230 and a hugger is £160.
Been a lot of K6 colour bashing on here recently, whats with that? I know theres very little choice and all that but Ive got the baby blue version. The thing is though that I can park my silver K6 in the bikepark and stand out amongst the blues. Ive always been an individual (my last car was a 'Kiwi yellow' cupra sport) and not worred about what people say. When I look out the window at the people looking at the bikes they arent looking at the four other blue ones anyway. Ive not even seen another locally anywhere for that matter. The only other colour I would fancy would be a black one, but apparently they are a bit rare, plus I wouldnt have paid the same price for a K5 as I would a K6 - if Im taking the depriciation for a brand new bike Im getting a brand new bike for it. |
