I read the rest of the previous post on this modification. For the vacuum signal from the front carb just attach to the mentioned plugged port. For the vacuum signal from the rear carb just tap into the vacuum line going to the petcock. Cut the line, put the tee in, take the vacuum reading from the branch of the tee. Cap the branch of the tee when done.
Leave the front tube in place tucked securely somewhere with a plug in it. Uncapped and/or unplugged lines = vacuum leak. |

vacuum leak wouldn't stop the engine turning over, which is what's described here.
