Look up a couple of posts, the GSXR front is extremely cheap to do. Cheaper than emulators and springs in fact!

Not necessarily. On paper and so long as you sell all the old SV front end bits then it may appear cheaper, but there is a certain unknown quantity. Reading a few posts on here from people who have done them, parts have been found to need straightening; other's didn't buy a whole front end and then ending up buying parts that wouldn't fit!

If you are experienced, not only mechanically but also knowing where to source good quality parts and what will fit (such as yourself Northy ) then it can be cheaper. With springs and emulators, you have a little more peace of mind knowing they are new and are likely to be (relatively) hassle free.

Ultimately a GSXR front end is going to be better (looks as well!) but it is more involved and needs more cash upfront.

Easiest way to sort the front end apart from the Emulator route is to go the Cartridge route. About £300 IIRC and you are done. Probably works out the cheapest in the long run as well.

That has not been mentioned at all.

Cheers
Ben
