a quote were the cheapest for me this year,
last year carol nash were the cheapest for me.

Turns out that they assume that it's garaged, and that you have no unsettled claims. I did the same quote over the phone and got £660

Bugger.

Does anyone know whether one can claim for the increase in premiums one as to pay due to an unsettled no-fault claim?

bummer. iwas gonna say. always check the small print and double check everything.

i was quoted £50 less by carol nash than every other company. i was assured it was comprehensive cover. i double checked. called back to accept....it was a tpft quote did my head in!!

needless to say i went elsewhere

I was with Hastings for a year on the car, but not the bike. i Pay £96 a year on my SV TPF&T

Give MCE a call, it's worth going through EVERY detail on the phone and checking the paperwork as I've seen the odd "error" crop up (suddenly becoming married shocked one person) to beat a price. But this is my 2nd year with them.

£112 fully comp on two SV's, including UK and European breakdown and recovery.

That's with Footman James.

Didn't cost me anything to add the SV to the Blue Blade's multibike policy.


Though as an aside, I've just seen a couple of ads on TV for an insurance company saying that if you've lived in the same place for the last five years they could save you money.

No, correct me if I'm wrong - but aren't most car accidents within 2 miles of home on a familiar route!
