nice pictures guys! Noticed none of you is wearing waterproofs. Should I bring some on my visit July next year. I'll be spending ten days on a bike touring Scotland. I'm not used to rain and don't know what to wear actually. What should I bring. I'm not gonna camp out but crash in B&B's and wanna travel as light as can be. What would you bring?

textiles would be easier than leathers with waterproofs. it doesnt get that hot up here even in the middle of summer but it will rain at some point

give us a shout when you have definite dates and we will try and arrange to meet up with you and show you some good roads

But I see most of you guys are in leathers?
Better to come in waterproof fabric then with an extra jeans as spare, a pair of trainers for walking here and there and spare undies. That should do it I think?

those in leathers ended up with red stained tops when the dye from leather went onto tops - isnt that so sam lol

couple of others went home as they were wet.

i had textiles on instead of leathers and still got wet top where trousers and jacket meet.

on way home there were a couple put on all in one waterproof suits, one in a fetching day glow orange
