Well, I've seen pics of the of the SV Riders just about sliding under a pickup Cornerwise it looks amazing, but the visibility's rotten and they say it's pretty common to find a car, bike or massive truck on your side of the road in the blind bends

Actually it's mostly in Tennesee, about ¼ mile of the 11 mile stretch of US Rt 129 is in North Carolina.

People think of it as being in NC because most of the nearby lodging is in NC

everything within a 200 mile radius is fantastic riding

Dang. I was going to say Tennesee, then I couldn't spell Tennesee so I googled for "Deal's Gap" and read it was in NC

I'm going there next year. I'm planning on hiring a bike (probably be a BMW adventure bike- I'm damned if I'm going to try that on a Harley) for a couple of days and doing that section of road several times. I know it'll be expensive to hire a bike, but I've budgeted for it. I could just be naughty and go to the nearest sportsbike shop nearby for a "test ride", but I expect they're wise to that.

The ShaggyZ clip, btw

Haha poor ShaggyZ! Did he do anything wrong, or just turned too tight for the road and tyres?
