I've been thinking about it alot as well. I guess you didn't see each other til the very last moment? Must have been very upsetting.

I saw him coming but I didn't really put it together till after he was past- I don't know whether it just wasn't obvious what line he was on, or whether I missed it. Probably just as well either way, if I'd reacted it would probably have been to get over in my own lane, which would have put me in his way

So you cut the corner early and ended up in his lane, and he had to take avoiding action and got around you? Good job he had good reations - you sound a bit dangerous to me Northy

Only joking - that would have been very scary! I wonder if he was a tourist?

I have seen the immediate aftermath of an incident so close to that mentioned by Northy. Trust me it definitely was not pretty.
